We’ve renovated and sold homes right here in Morrinsville for many years, and chose this property as a place that we could put down roots and raise our children.

Anchors Down has been our passion project since 2019. There was a clear market not only for typical storage facilities, but also for large-scale and flexible storage that allowed customers to drive in and out with trucks and trailers. Basically, storage that suited tradies, construction businesses, and others with large equipment that didn’t want to push trolleys down long hallways to their unit.

Because we live onsite, we’re able to keep a close eye on the storage facility and ensure a high standard of security for our customers. Our years of experience in packing, storing, and unpacking items as we renovated homes has provided us with an understanding of how we could provide a space that’s functional, affordable, and meets the needs of our clients. Running our building business from one of the sheds for the first few years meant we could test and confirm the theory.
